Piece, Quilt, Bind

Binding is not my favorite part of quilting.
I now have three quilts that are quilted and need binding.
I am going to try to motivate myself by commiting here to get one quilt bound this week month.

the thing is, it shouldn't be hard for me to get motivated to bind! two of the quilts are new patterns for me and I am always super anxious to show you those. I am starting with this quilt:

Jewel Box

I finished quilting my Jewel Box with my new Sashiko machine (see it in action here)...and I love it! can you see the cute little stitches?

I have this fabric cut up to bind it:

Cleo LOVES the snow! We went walking down by the river the other day and she was thrilled to run fast, carry the biggest sticks she could find, and make snow angels. She did not appreciate me making her sit to pose for a picture.
