I now have three quilts that are quilted and need binding.
I am going to try to motivate myself by commiting here to get one quilt bound this
the thing is, it shouldn't be hard for me to get motivated to bind! two of the quilts are new patterns for me and I am always super anxious to show you those. I am starting with this quilt:
| Jewel Box |
I have this fabric cut up to bind it:
So, send me some encouraging vibes....get me stitching away on this!
I saw that Jess at Elven Garden is participating in a blog hop this month focusing on learning new Modern Sewing skills. Looks interesting, so go check it out!
Cleo LOVES the snow! We went walking down by the river the other day and she was thrilled to run fast, carry the biggest sticks she could find, and make snow angels. She did not appreciate me making her sit to pose for a picture.
Enjoy the rest of the week!

Positive vibes coming your way! Can't wait to see your finishes ;o) And thanks for mentioning the blog hop, it should be fun :o)
ReplyDeleteCall me silly, but I love to do binding. I keep trying to do machine binding, but I really enjoy sitting and hand stitching the binding down. It is one more way to put stitches of love in your quilts. Enjoy each stitch.
ReplyDeleteI'm like Miki - I love doing the hand work! Pretty jewel box quilt!
ReplyDeleteBinding is my all time least favorite part of quilting, I actually enjoy that less than pin basting, so I totally understand!
ReplyDeleteI love to bind and wish we lived close so I could bind while hanging out!
ReplyDeleteI don't like that part either...But it is a pleasure to have a quilt finished!
