I really like quilting books.
I have a new favorite and I want to share it with you readers!
I picked up this book last week and it is fabulous. Seriously, I actually READ it after I bought it, not just drooled over the pictures. I actually plan to MAKE something out of it! Every quilt in it is good and I like that it has something for all skill levels.
There is basic piecing, paper-foundation piecing, and curves, even English paper piecing!
One of the best things, and the reason I actually read it, is the introduction to quilting. It does not contain just the usual basics in boring print. There are tips and tricks with beautiful pictures and there is personality in the writing, lots of fun. You, like me, might actually learn something!
There are instructions for zippers (which I would like to try) and ruffles, as well as the basics plus foundation and curved piecing.
Some of my favorites! I really like that log cabin in the middle, and doesn't that NY Beauty look like me? (by the way, it was quilted by Jenny Pedigo, of whom I am a huge fan!)
Okay, so I picked up an extra copy for one of you! Just leave me a comment on this post to enter. If you are a follower, you already have an extra entry. Tell your friends about this blog and let me know you did (with a link in your comment) and you get an extra entry.
I will pick a winner on Monday, January 21st.
